TERMS & CONDITIONS
Thank you for your inquiry. Below are our Terms and Conditions:
1. Preparation and Packing
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure items are ready for transport prior to our arrival.

Furniture: All dressers, chests of drawers, and furniture units must be completely empty and free of clothing or household articles.

Small Items: All loose items (books, shoes, clothes, small decor, etc.) must be packed in boxes, bins with lids, or heavy-duty bags capable of withstanding the weight.

Note: A "small item" is defined as anything that fits in a standard 15”x15” box.

Small items that are not packed will not be transported.

Televisions: All TVs must be boxed or packaged correctly.

Unboxed TVs will not be transported.

If you do not have the original box, TV boxes can be purchased at retailers like Lowe’s, Home Depot, or U-Haul (approx. $30).

Packing Quality: X-Man Delivery is not responsible for damage caused by poorly packed boxes. We strongly recommend using bubble wrap and wrapping paper for fragile items.
2. Prohibited Items
For safety and sanitary reasons, we cannot transport the following:

Live plants
-
Flammable items (e.g., propane tanks)
-
Soiled mattresses
-
Items contaminated with insects
-
Appliances that have not been emptied
3. Appliance Policy
X-Man Delivery is capable of transporting your major appliances; however, specific restrictions apply:

No Installation Services: We do not perform uninstallation or installation services for appliances.

Disconnects: In exceptional circumstances, we may disconnect a washer and dryer with your consent. This requires a waiver of liability, meaning X-Man Delivery assumes no responsibility for leaks or issues arising from the disconnect process.
4. Valuation and Damages
We strive to protect your belongings. However, in the event of damage, the following coverage policies apply:
Basic Coverage ($0.60 per pound) If a repair is not feasible, damages are covered under the standard valuation of $0.60 per pound.

Example: A 100-lb dresser that is destroyed would be covered for a maximum of $60.
Repairs

Furniture Scratches: Will be repaired by one of our furniture specialists.

Parts: A missing caster on a chair or a broken lampshade will be replaced with a new or like-new item.
Property Damage Limits Damages to walls, floors, or driveways will be repaired by our designated contractor.

Walls: Maximum coverage of $200 for minor damages (scratches or holes under 4 inches in diameter).

Driveways: Maximum coverage of $300 for damage where repair is not feasible.
5. Weather and Floor Protection

Inclement Weather: Customers are advised to lay down necessary floor protection (plastic film for carpets or Ram Board for hardwood) prior to our arrival.

Included Protection: Our movers provide a floor runner for the front foyer, door protectors, and door jamb protectors. We also use shrink wrap and moving blankets to safeguard your furniture.
6. Storage Moves
If your move is going into a storage facility:

Blankets: You are responsible for providing your own moving blankets/pads for items staying in storage.

X-Man Blankets: Our moving blankets must remain with our trucks and cannot be left in the storage unit.
Cancellations & Deposits

Local Moves (Hourly): Deposits are refundable only if cancellation is made at least one week prior to your scheduled move time.

Long-Distance Moves (Over 50 miles): Cancellation requires at least two weeks' notice.
-
Failure to provide adequate notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit or, in rare cases, a moving credit equal to half the deposit amount.

8. Payment Terms

Credit/Debit Surcharge: A 3.5% processing fee will be applied to any card transaction exceeding $999.99.
